So, you're a poker player online and you play at a site that doesn't have any prizes in play? I see. You play at a poker site that has no promotional apparrel? I see. You want me to come play at this site? Errrrrrrr.....
This site needs prizes. You are poker players and you should love prizes by nature. Post your ideas here!
One thing I have learned about the people in charge: They don't like reading or posting long posts. So I will keep it on point.
To All Poker Gods: A shirt that says “I Am A PokerGod... At PokerRPG.com”. Logo in the middle, screen name on the back. This could be for chips or whatever Dreamburst thinks is a good price.
To Monthly Winners: Use the same “personal raffle” code to have people enter for the monthly prize(s). It would take little work and instantly add one of the best elements back into the game.
Always remember the wise lyrics of Chuck D... “Before you get what you want/ Gotta give the peeps what they need!”

being a poker god is just a matter of how much time you spend here.. so not a really good indicator that ur' good..
i see tons of “world class” players, who dont know how to play unless its all in everyhand, for about 250Big Blinds... so i find those “tags” really deceiving.

But you have to admit it would look really cool on a shirt! The bottomline is... The #1 method for a poker site to draw players is to have their site displayed on a poker table. It takes care of promotions and prizes in one brilliant stroke.

I would wear the crap out of that shirt. I wear out playing cards, would love to have a few PRPG decks to wear out.
Ive been thinking of getting a PRPG tattoo across my right forearm . . . I bet that those less inclined to the permanent variety would wear the temp ones.
Hey if I do that I wont get sued will I?

that looks nice garth :)
Only thing i would change in the shirts: instead of being diagonal, the www.pokerrpg.com could be horizontal, with small fonts at the end of the shirt. Just my opinion.
But keep up the nice work!

maybe a good idea... but any prizes would be an improvement. it doesn't give me much of an incentive to play here without them

that's kind of a loaded question seeing as i barely play any games! but the only other browser based game i play at the moment offers prizes every 2 weeks. the non-browser based game i play is a CAL game and offers cash prizes for events.
this is the only game i play with no prizes.

Not that I disagree entirely with you or anything but whatever happened to playing a game for the fun of it? Just playing devils advocate here. I do think prizes would make it more fun but then again, I play here because I love poker and I like a lot of the people on this site.

Most games have promotional events where you either have to do the best at something or, more commonly, you have to reach a certain goal and you're entered into a (at most) weekly raffle.
This is the only game I've ever played that had a system that guaranteed a reward for reaching a certain goal. It seems the PRPG prize system is the exception rather than the rule (and is probably more costly).
