Could this be the end of Free downloads?
I dunno about all of you but i download films and music a lot, mainly from Demonoid and pirate bay but this may be the end after reading this:
In the United States, a new law proposal called The Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA) was introduced last week, and there will be a hearing in front of the Judiciary Committee this Thursday.
If passed, this law will allow the government, under the command of the media copanies, to censor the internet as they see fit, like China and Iran do, with the difference that the sites they decide to censor will be completely removed form the internet and not just in the US.
Any thoughts on this?

the end of free downloads should be the least of your problems when it comes to that law. i'll elaborate when i have more time :D

Bunch of sites were been shut down weeks ago. Including some of the best movie sites. I keep seeing more and more go. Sucks, but oh well.

yer demonoid (the one i use) updated with this: Update, from EFF's website: the Senate Judiciary Committee postponed the scheduled markup of the Internet censorship bill — a fantastic outcome, given that the entertainment industry and their allies in Congress had hoped this bill would be quickly approved before the Senators went home for the October recess. Massive thanks to all who used the EFF Action Center to write to your Senators to oppose this bill.

Never tried demonoid been using fenopy with a proxy server. Is demonoid pretty good with only good copies? They make you sign up as well which i'm really found of doing.

You have to be invited to demoniod, it stops most of the bad stuff coming into sites like that. I can invite ya if you want but pm me

so basically no one should get paid for their hard work? everyone should share nice???? tell ya what guys if thats how you feel then take all the loot and items you have in this game and distribute it evenly right now! ....after all everyone should have the same as everyone else no matter how hard they work for it right????
