Poker Tables v4.5 Initial Release

The initial release of v4.5 of the poker tables is now updated *on cash games only* for the time being. If you run into any new issues while playing a cash game (only poker, not blackjack), please post them here. Within the next few days the new system will be added into SnG's and Blackjack.

The new version of the poker tables comprises of 100% behind the scenes improvements that bring a near real-time gameplay to PokerRPG for the first time. The latency on the tables should be improved at least 10x, so updates will be pushed to all players at a table simultaneously instead of being staggered within a 1-2 second difference.

Updates & Holiday Item

A few days ago I made a post about upcoming updates on the PokerRPG fan page on Facebook (if you aren't a fan already, you should become one by clicking on the 'Facebook' link at the bottom of the page). For those of you that haven't read the update, here it is:

"So I am finally done with finals and am now on winter break for a month (my workload for school next semester is basically nothing compared to last semester as well, so lots more time to work on the site!), and I am starting to do planning for Poker Tables v4.5 which will be exclusively behind the scenes updates that should bring true real-time gameplay and more bug fixes. More updates on the progress of this soon!"

Also, starting now and ending on December 26, 2009 at 11:59pm you will get a special Snowman item with each point pack purchase.

Four of a Kind & Blinds

The bug when calculating the kicker with four of a kinds has now been fixed. Also, a new level has been added to the blinds that raises them up to 500/1000.

Blind Structure Updated

SnG blind structured has been tweaked somewhat to speed the games up and make it easier to add up. Two new blind levels have been added (100/200, 125/250, 150/300, 250/500) and the 80/160 level has been changed to 75/150.

21st Birthday

New Referral System

I have updated the referral system to be more appealing to all of you (since the current system is over 3 years old and doesn't really apply anymore). You can check out all the details on the referrals page, but basically you get 10 points for each active friend you refer. Remember (as is pointed out in bold on the referrals page), if the person you invite is on the same computer/network as you or has the same IP address, the referral will not count.

Heads Up SnG Bug Fix
