Bugs & Suggestions

I have changed the Bugs & Suggestions link to a new service, at least for now. This is a 3rd party service that basically provides what the current Bugs & Suggestions page offers, but it works and looks much nicer and should make it so that bugs and suggestions get in and out much more quickly.

Happy Birthday PokerRPG

Since the release of the site in beta testing, PokerRPG is now 2 years old to the day. It has been a great 2 years with lots of exciting improvements and growth and I hope continue the additions and growth in time to come. Thanks for the support from everyone and I hope it has brought entertainment and community to many.

New Scratch Offs

I have added 3 new kinds of Scratch Offs. There are now bronze, silver, and gold. These work a little differently than the other 3. Instead of just scratching off all of the spots, these cards have 2 winners (3 of a kind), and you scratch off until you are a winner. If you get 3 blanks or scratch off all of the spots then you lose.

Scratch Offs

The much awaited feature, Scratch Offs, is finally released! There are 3 types of scratch offs: brown, red, and black. brown is the least expensive and black is the most. The more expensive, the more you can win, simple enough. There is also a jackpot just like with slots that can be won and the scratch offs can be used and traded just like any other item. Enjoy!

Forum Revamp

I have done a revamp of the forums to not only look better but be easier and quicker to navigate. Several bugs have been fixed as well. I have also added 2 new features:

Post Spy
--------
This feature allows you to view new posts to the forums in real time. Whenever there is a new post on the forums it will automatically show up at the top of the list.

Subscription Spy
---------------
This is similar to the Post Spy, but instead of viewing all of the recent posts it lets you view recent posts on topics you have replied to or started.

Referral Contest Update

I have lowered the requirement for the 10 100 point drawings to just 2 referrals. So now instead of needing 3, you just need to refer 2 users to the site by June 15 to be qualified for 1/10 100 point giveaways.

Remember, the goal is 2500 new users by the end of the contest and you can keep track of the progress from the page, please help make this goal a reality.

Referral Contest

I have just started a referral contest to not only make more points available to you all, but to also help grow the site which will in turn make it a more enjoyable experience. Please read the below rules as they are important, the prizes are listed below as well as on the contest page which you can access by clicking the 'Contest!' link at the top of every page.

This contest will end on June 15, 2008 at 11:59 pm PST (Poker Standard Time). Please do not spam other sites with your link or use any "tricky" methods to gain referrals. It should be known that you will not receive credit for a referral if the person you are referring is using the same internet connection as you, or has the same IP address as you. It should also be known that before prizes are handed out, all winners will be investigated, and if it is found out that you have cheated in any way, you will be banned from the site, so please play fairly.

Prizes are 1000 points to 1st place, 500 points to 2nd place, 250 points to 3rd place, and then 10 random users will be chosen to win 100 points that have gotten 3+ referrals. You will also still get the 250 chips per referral.
