Credit Card Monday, August 4. 2008
I have had to remove credit card as a payment option for points due to a dispute with the credit card processor. I am actively pursuing a new processor that will better suit the needs of PokerRPG and will post again when cards can again be accepted. The kinds of bugs that qualify for this are ones that can be used to gain free chips in the game. There is now a new feature in the world section, Trades. This allows you to post 1 or more items up for trade and other players can offer you 1 or more items and chips. I am sorry about the declining state of customer service for all of you. The site has grown a lot and it has been too much for me to handle by myself. To try and fix the situation, I have created a Support System. This can be accessed from the help menu and you can submit support tickets that can be answered by myself and any of the moderators. There is now a new feature in the world section that is called Raffles. This is a twice daily basic raffle for rare items. There will be 8 items per time slot, and every 12 hours winners will be randomly chosen and new raffles will be added. It is 1 chip per entry, up to 500 per item. posted by James :: Comments (28)

If you are reading this then the new server is up and running. Not only has the hardware been updated, but the software that runs the server has been updated quite a bit to much newer versions. This can cause compatibility issues in some instances, so if you see any error messages please report them in the comments. posted by James :: Comments (43)

The site will be taken down tonight at 12:00 am PST while the site is moved to a new, more powerful server. It could take up to 24 hours for the site to switch to the new server for you, depending on how fast your ISP updates the DNS record. posted by James :: Comments (10)
