Okay, Achievements and overall ranks are now working nicely, thanksfully haha. They update every 30 minutes (:03 and :33 gametime) and we also a change, what used to be Donator Achievement, is now Site Supporter achievement to relieve any confusion between donator status, and that achievement. :)

Updates

Okay, so there's been some updates which people may or may not have noticed.

At this point, you'll notice that the chat system has changed a bit, so that you can tell who is staff. Red for mods, Green for Owners and Blue for General Manager as well as for the Head Public Admin.

Also, I have updated the personal raffles so that any one person can only set up 8 at a time. Those of you with more will NOT lose any of your current ones. However you will not be able to make more until some have finished.

So to recap the above. If you HAVE 8+ raffles that you created. YOU WILL NOT be able to make more UNTIL that number becomes LESS than 8. As we understand how great the system is... but it will cause strain on the server if overused too much.


There have been various system updates staffside as well, and serverside. So hopefully the server will continue to run relatively smooth.





COMING UPDATES:
We're working on fixing the problems with achievements as well as the issues with people getting stuck in tables (or in some cases, just simply not being able to get into one in the first place).

Multiple Accounts!

I have stated several times in the recent past that we are going to be tightening down on multiple accounts on the same IP addresses. There are many reasons for cracking down on this issue. The main one being we need to bring the integrity back to this site so we can re-open the prize area when this process is complete. The bottom line is that I do not want to pay out prizes to accounts that have willingly abused the system to take advantage of the prize area. I think this is only a fair expectation on our end as cheating to gain prizes is basically theft.

I am aware that some people have legitimate reasons for having more than one account at their home, school and or work. I am not saying if you have more than one account that you will be losing all of your accounts. What I am saying is that every person in this situation will be dealt with on an individual basis.

What you need to do if you have more than one account at your work, home and or school is go to the support system located under the help tab. I need you to open a ticket and state your reasoning behind your multiple account situation. Someone will get back to you and you do need to be responsive in this process or you will risk losing your accounts. We are not trying to alienate anyone from Poker RPG.

We realize something has gone wrong with these two functions of the game there is currently no need to mail Cynic with more instances of these bugs.

We are working on them and hope to have a fix in place as soon as we can.

More updates, Yay!

:D Well, good news. I updated the personal raffles, so that you can tell what it all means. It should be a load more userfriendly now. Also, if you view anyone's profile you will see a link to view their raffles. Naturally if you do not see the [Donator: _ days left] in red beside their name in their profile, they will NOT be able to make raffles.


Yes, that means you can also now see who is a donator. As mentioned above, a very obvious sign is put on their profile, this completely separates donator achievement and donator status. Hopefully this makes things easier.

Updates

Raffles have been fixed so that the winner is properly decided (only once now. Haha) and there can only be the given limit to the number of people allowed to enter.

I also updated the Free Points section so that when you vote, it will now give the 2 points (It also now says it if you do in fact qualify). I have a few other things that I plan on doing today, if anyone finds any bugs or such, make sure that they get submitted. :)

Donator Packs and Personal Raffles

Yeah, I know it sounds like a moneygrab, I promise it's not!

We at DreamBurst want to prove to you all that money doesn't have to be the only object of our world. So, this is how we'll do it. For the prices $5 per month (or discounted for higher terms) you can purchase donator status. Now, the best part is, I'll be finished the PERSONAL RAFFLES system tonight, as I'm testing it as I go.

Personal Raffles will work for anyone, however to CREATE a raffle, you must be a donator. Of course, I'll be adding more features soon to make donating more useful to you as a user.

Oh, did I mention that tonight I'm also adding the "Double Points" feature to the vote links, for donators.


Wow, I really sound greedy. Sorry about that, it's more of a way for us to cover our costs, while giving you a method of getting a better experience!

P.S. I said it already, but I'll say it again, Personal Raffles can be entered by anyone, just donators only can create them!

Hidden Chip Chest

There is currently an issue with the hidden chip chest it seems to be stuck in an unattainable location. We are currently working on getting it moving and I will post a new news note when it is working properly.

Missions Bug

The bug where upgraded missions have been reducing back to the base amount after a set amount of time should now be fixed. Upgrades should be permanent.

Exploiting bugs for your own gain on this site is not going to be acceptable behavior. If you like the account you have been playing on I strongly advise against exploiting bugs.

We do have a list of bugs we are working on and we can and will see who is using them for their own gain.

Gift Cards

We realize that there are some users who feel they ordered a gift card and never received it.

Trades

A problem with Trades has been reported. After checking it out here is what we found out.

Trades themselves are working just fine there is however an error on the My Offers Page. It is showing your completed trades on that page well after they have been completed. This is something we will work on in the near future, but the trades on that page have been completed. So they do work.
