New Main Tournament

A new Main Tournament has been added to the daily slate - Midnight Madness. As the name suggests, this tournament will run daily at midnight. The buy-in is 25,000 chips.

I have also made small banners for each Main Tournament to make them stand out better than just having the small text in the tournament section.

Play Poker Page

The Play Poker page has been overhauled in order to be easier to read and see information about currently open tables. The biggest changes are that you can now see how many players are at a table without having to mouse over each table and the large numbers for buy-in and stakes have been reformatted to be shorted (100000 => 100K).

Chat Update

The main, site-wide chat has been redone from the ground up in the same way that the game chat was redone on the tables. This reduces overhead by over 90% and greatly improves loading speed. It also greatly reduces the load on the server.

All-In Bug Fix

A bug has been fixed that caused an All-In SnG to freeze when someone left the table before the all-in hand was completed.

New Mini-Game: Number Drop

A new mini-game is now available to play in the World: Number Drop. Number Drop is a site-wide game with a jackpot like the lottery, but a new game starts every 3 hours. The idea is pretty simple, you pick numbers, and whoever picked the lowest unique number at the end of the game wins the jackpot. Full rules and details (not much longer than what I just posted) are available on the game's page. There is also a new achievement that goes along with this game

Prizes Update

The minimum bid increment has been changed from a flat 100 chips to 1% of the current high bid. So, for example, if a prize auction currently has a bid of 1,000,000 chips, the next bid must be at least 1,010,000 chips.

Another Backend Update

I've implemented a second backend update that should prevent occasional, temporary site freezes from occurring when the rankings are updating. When these brief freezes or lags occurred, bugs were quite frequent at the tables, so this should no longer be an issue.

Backend Update

I've been working on and testing improvements to the backend on the server and database to improve performance and avoid temporary freezes that cause various issues, mainly of which results in players being booted from tables. I've only implemented one potential update that I've been working on, but I think this is the one that will have the most impact. If you get booted from a table after the table appears to freeze for 10-30 seconds, please open a ticket with as much detail as possible and I will continue to tweak this update until it is working perfectly.

All-In Bug

Slots Updates

There appeared to be a bug that took chips from you when you had to do the verify screen when playing the slots. While the chips weren't actually taken from you, the "Chips Won" counter showed that they were. This should now be working properly.

There was also an issue that sometimes caused the jackpot to not add or remove chips properly which has now been fixed.

Double Blinds Bug

If a user joined a table and sat in the seat to the left of the current dealer button, the players in the current blinds would have to pay those twice. This should now be fixed.

Tournament Dealer Bug

Sometimes when the blinds went up in a tournament, the dealer button would not move, forcing someone to pay the big blind twice. This is now fixed.
