The entire cell around the table's name is now clickable to join a table rather than just the linked table name text.

Points Page Updates
Wednesday, January 26. 2011

I have done some revamping to the pages under the points/prizes navigation. Several tweaks have been made to make these pages more intuitive and easier to navigate. The contests page has been moved to its own page and the Points Raffle contest has had its prize improved. I was also successful in cutting in excess of 1,000 lines of code out of these pages, which should help in page load times. You can also easily see how many of an upgrade you currently own right from the Use Points page.

There is a new link in the bottom right of each page - Extras. This is the new location for the PokerrPG wallpapers, which now come in a new range of screen resolutions. There is also code for the badge and a "like" box showing information about the PokerRPG Facebook page.

More profile updates, and status updates
Sunday, January 23. 2011

The shop box has been removed and the link to a user's shop now shows at the top of the page underneath the links to add/remove the user as a friend and to ignore/un-ignore a user.

In its place a new feature has been added - status updates. You can now post status updates about pretty much anything you want: bragging, what you are up to today, if you are going to be out for a while, etc. You can see all of your friends' status updates from the Stats Updates box on your profile page, and you can see all of a certain user's status updates from their profile page.

If you have suggestions to improve the status updates feature, please post them in the comments and I will of course see what I can do.

Profile Update
Saturday, January 22. 2011

Profile pages have been updated to organize and consolidate information in an easier to read/user format. Most of the updates are fairly subtle like a larger font and a slightly wider right column. The friends section has been revamped and moved to the left side to now show your friend's poker faces and rank. More achievements now fit into a smaller space. Some sections have been removed that were seldom used (hobbies, sports, books, etc).

There is also a new feature in the works for the new profiles that will expand the friends feature, but I haven't had time to get it completed as of yet. I'm hoping to push that update out soon as well.

Market Analysis Tool
Thursday, January 20. 2011

A new unlockable feature has been added for all of you item market players out there, the Market Analysis Tool. This feature allows you to look up any item in the game and get a historical graph showing historical chip prices for that item in the market. Data has only been recorded for the past 10 days so far, but as time goes on it will fill out more and you will be able to see up to 10 days of data. This feature can be accessed from the Search Market page.

Live Updating Play Poker Page
Thursday, January 13. 2011

The Play Poker page has been completely redone to be much more resource efficient, and best of all, is now live updating. This means no more reloading of the Play Poker page over and over to see the updated number of players at a table, or to see if there are any new tables. When a new table is started, it will show up immediately, as will registrations for new Main Tournaments. When the player count changes at a table, it will flash yellow and fade back to its regular color to make it obvious that an update has occurred. Extensive testing has gone into this update, but it is hard to test for 100% of all scenarios, so if you see an odd behavior, please open a ticket and I will get it fixed.

Updated Navigation
Sunday, January 9. 2011

The main site navigation has been redone to visually better match the navigation buttons and the overall site design. They should also be a little easier to use. I've also reorganized the world link into categories so it is easier to navigate, especially for new users who might have seen the long list as somewhat daunting.

Various Updates
Saturday, January 8. 2011

The option to keep the window from coming to the front of your screen has now been added to Blackjack and Liar's Dice as well.

The Hidden Chips Chest page now shows how long it has been since the last person found it.

As you can probably see, the News Blog has been redone to hopefully look better. The main improvement is in the comments section which should be much easier to read now and see who posted.
