I have designed a new e-mail template for all e-mails that come out of PokerRPG (the few that there are). This should hopefully provide an easier to read/look at experience for new users getting the welcome e-mail, current users resetting their password, donators getting an exclusive alert, etc.  posted by James :: Comments (2)
Tournament blind updates Monday, July 11. 2011
Two new levels have been added to the blinds of both Sit and Go's and Main Tournaments. A 750/1500 round followed by a 1000/2000 round. posted by James :: Comments (4)

The missions page ow shows correctly when you are asked for 4 items. The raffles page has received a few tweaks. If you have bet before a player after you raises all-in with less chips than the current bet, you were previously unable to raise at all on further rounds of that hand. The external judges are currently going through the entries and picking their favorites. Random Events Friday, July 1. 2011
The random events system has been completely rewritten from the ground up (some of the phrases are similar, but that is it). The new system will spread the events out much more evenly across active users. It also favors positive events much more (about 80/20 in favor of positive). You also gain experience from each event (even the bad ones). The code that runs the new system is much more efficient as well, so it will take ongoing load off of the back-end server. posted by James :: Comments (6)

PokerRPG turns five today. That is right, five years ago today, I opened PokerRPG for beta testing (it is hard for me to believe too). Thank you to everyone who has made this possible and has been along for any part of the ride! Especially a big thank you to any beta testers that still might be out there! If you have uploaded a custom background image for your profile, you now have a new customization option. You can choose to make your profile page semi-transparent so that some of your background image can be seen through the page. All-in blind bug fix Friday, May 27. 2011
If a player in the big blind had less chips than the small blind, and won the hand pre-flop due to everyone else folding, that player will now get the correct amount of chips rather than the full small blind paid by the other player. posted by James :: Comments (0)
