It is really hard to believe that it's been 8 years since PokerRPG launched, but that day has now arrived! The community that has and continues to be part of this game for all these years has been truly remarkable, so here's to the future!

To celebrate this milestone, we have a new limited edition item available! You will get this Eighth Birthday Bike item for each 100 Gold purchased from now through June 19 @ 11:59 PM (for example, a single purchase of 500 Gold gets you 5 of the item).

Crash Bug

There was a bug that caused the server to crash a few times on Sunday. The issue has been located within the Blackjack code that caused an infinite loop (if you are a programmer you know this is very bad). The issue has now been fixed.

Easter Hunt 2014

Starting today and running through April 22 @ 11:59pm, be on the lookout for 7 different Easter-themed lambs around the site and in the Poker Credits Store. The 8th lamb (RamBo) can be had as a super-exclusive item, and the Black Sheep can be had with each purchase of a pack of 100 or more Gold (you must buy the Gold while on the PokerRPG website, click the blue "Get Gold" button in the bottom left). Happy hunting (please though, no lethal weapons...we don't want any lamb carnage on the streets).

FurnitureRPG

Everybody loves furniture, right? There's never enough room for all of the furniture you want, no matter how big your pad is! So, this dilemma left us with just one option. In order to make more room for all of the furniture in the world, we needed to flip things around and change the name to FurnitureRPG (FRPG, for short). This way, the poker of the world isn't taking up so much space! Really awesome, right? We thought so too. That's why we made this amazing new logo as well!

Poker SnG Bug Fixed

Another elusive poker bug has been fixed! This one was rather nasty in that it would randomly kick players out of SnG's that had gone all-in and forced everyone to fold. Since this bug only happened in certain random circumstances, it was very difficult to reproduce, but thanks to everyone's amazing bug reports it was finally discovered and is now history. We fixed a few more table freeze bugs along the way as well.

Forum Contest Extended

Holiday Hunt 2013

Today marks the start of what is now a 4-year tradition, Holiday Hunt 2013! The holidays are a very festive time, and what better way to be festive than with a whole set of new items. This year's hunt will last from today through December 30, 2013 @ 11:59pm.

There are 8 new items available, with 6 being found randomly around the site and in the poker credit store. The Skis item will be available for a limited time as a super exclusive item, and the Ice Rink item can be had with each Gold purchase of 100+ Gold.

In an attempt to continue to add as much choice as possible, we've added Google to the list of login options for the GoldFire Network. This means besides logging in with your e-mail as usual, you can now login with Facebook, Twitter or Google.

Blackjack Freezing Bug Fixed

This has been a nagging bug for a long time that has turned out to be one of the most elusive bugs I've ever come across on this game. The problem was that whenever you split and got a 21 with 2 cards, the Blackjack table would essentially freeze. There were ways to get out of the table, but it caused all sorts of issues and it was never very apparent what was the root cause. Well, I'm happy to finally announce that this bug has now been located and fixed!
