Kickstarter is a crowd-funding platform that helps people make creative projects (such as games) a reality, and we need your help to finish and launch CasinoRPG. Fireside Chat Update and Rewards

Remember that the next GoldFire Studios Fireside Chat will be on Thursday, January 3, 2013 @ 6:00 pm CST because of New Year's. It will also be hosted at Livestream instead of UStream because Livestream offers much better tools (we can now show you images and footage directly in the video feed instead of on a separate screen), and there are no ads at all! Unfortunately, you have to make an account with Livestream to view the broadcast, but that is completely free.

We also have an announcement about Mail Bag rewards. If you go to this page and submit a question that gets selected for the Mail Bag during the broadcast, you will get 25 Gold (limit 2 50 Gold per broadcast). Questions must be submitted at least 24 hours before the show, and you must include your username when you submit the question.

Holiday Hunt 2012

It is that time of year again, and it wouldn't be a festive season without some fun new items for all of you! In order to help celebrate the season and the end of 2012, we are continuing the Holiday Hunt tradition, which will last through Jnuary 1, 2013 at 11:59pm.

There are 8 new items available, with 6 being found randomly around the site and in the poker credit store. The Santa Sack item will be available for a limited time as a super exclusive item, and the Rudolph item can be had with each Gold purchase of 100+ Gold.

Episode #8: Polantis Cliff

Election season is over, and his Royal Flush, Henry the Straight, is back in office thanks to your help straightening him out! However, all is not well in New Holdem. We face a crisis of Polantis proportions, and Henry the Straight once again calls upon his people for support in stemming the tide and preventing our casinos from suffering the fate of the aquatic ones. Henry has decided to hold a worldwide tournament of poker to keep everyone occupied while…err I mean…to reward everyone for their help in these trying times.

Few Bug Fixes

Two bugs have been fixed with transferring chips on tables. One sometimes caused the feature to not work at all, and the other caused the table to freeze when you typed a non-numeric character into the transfer box.

An issue with SnG's starting before full should now be fixed.

GoldFire Studios Fireside Chat

Here at GoldFire Studios we are all about building community, and so to prove that point, we are inviting the entire community right into our office. On Tuesday, October 9 at 6:00 pm CST, we will be broadcasting the very first "GoldFire Studios Fireside Chat." This will be a live broadcast from the GoldFire Studios office where you will get to see where the magic happens, see and hear about behind-the-scenes activities, and I'll even answer questions from all of you. There might even be a few surprises, so be sure to tune in next week!

If he is going to win this election he must stick to his roots and once again become a real straight shooter. Scheduled Downtime

The PokerRPG site will be down for 1-2 hours starting around 1:00 am game time on August 15. This downtime will be caused by a server move that will put the main PokerRPG site in the same datacenter as the new poker tables.

Bug Fixes & Tweaks

Thanks for all the feedback since the new launch! Here's a list of some of the fixes and tweaks in the past 1.5 weeks.

- Fixed SnG blind increase speed.
- Fixed some Internet Explorer issues.
- Fixed issues with some obscure hand calculations.
- Fixed some issues with missions.
- Prevent dealer/user chat from auto-scrolling when you are scrolling up to look at older messages.
- Fixed some issues with bounties.
- Some more performance tweaks.
